Introduction: Pallet Planter

Want a great easy way to save spacing in your backyard? A pallet planter is a great choice for your sunny day gardening and good way of starting wood working as a beginner. This planter is time effiencent to make and affordable costing me around $70 to make. Now this is a great way to start your summer!

Supplies

Tools- Hammer, staple gun, tape measure, utility knife, gardening tools, drill, crowbar, saw.

Materials- 2 wooden pallets, screws, landscaping fabric, plants(your choice).

Step 1: 3D Model of a Pallet Planter

3D modeling the wooden pallet plants made it easier for me to exicute the production of the planter. This reimagined the design process much easier instead of going all in and with out knowing how to build it correctly.

Step 2: Disassemble One of the Two Pallets

Get the two pallets and disassemble one of the front horizontal boards of the pallet of your choice.

Step 3: Remove Boards From the Pallet Planning to Use

Use a crowbar and a hammer to remove the last two horizontal boards on the picture shown to have precisely 4 planting sections available.

Step 4: Cut Any of the Disassemble Horizontal Boards in Half

Using a handhold saw cut exactly 4 boards in half and should give you 8 pieces in total.

Step 5: Place the 8 Wooden Cut Pieces Under the Unfilled Gap Spaces of the Pallet Using to Hold the Plants

Makes sure to have a drill and screws for the next step!

Step 6: Once Placed in Correct Position Drill With the Screws on the Left Side of the Pallet and From Inside of the Pallet on the Right Side Drilling Left to Connect Both Side (vise Vera).

Should look something like this.

Step 7: Make Sure Everything Looks Like From Step 6

Step 8: Cut Big Sizes of the Landscaping Fabric Enough to Cover Each Plant Divided Section

Step 9: Cover the Landscaping Fabric Inside the Divided Plant Section Till You See No More Openings for Soil to Fall Through

Should look a little similar to this

Step 10: With a Stapler Staple the Fabric Inside and Outside the Plant Holders,

Step 11: Now Once Everything Looks and Fits Right Now It's Time for You to Plant the Plants Want in Each Section.

My final product!

Step 12: Move the Pallet Planter to a Area Where It's Best Suitable to Get Everything the Plants Need
