Introduction: Paper Airplane

Paper Airplane making was a childhood skill that everyone seemed to have. But somehow your plane would always last 2-3 flights and then it just wouldn't fly right. Have you always wondered how to make the *perfect* paper airplane that isn't too hard? Well look no further. This airplane is close to fool proof as long as every step is followed carefully and precisely. Show your inner-child by making this amazing craft!

Step 1: What You'll Need

In order to make the perfect paper airplane you'll need three things.

• One 8x11" piece of paper ( any color is fine )

• Any flat surface big enough to work on

And lastly, a mind that is willing to work and accept possible failure on the first attempt.

Step 2: Folding the Airplane

This is not your average airplane, so it will require more steps than usual. Remember patience is key!

This one starts a little different.

First, fold the top left corner all the way down so it meets the right edge of the paper. You’ll then unfold, as this will be a guiding crease.

Fold #2 - Repeat the same thing with the top right corner and unfold.

You should now have an "X" on your paper.

Step 3: Folding Continued

Fold #3 - Now, fold the top right corner down so that its edge meets the crease that goes from top left to bottom right.

Fold #4 - Do the same with the left corner. The top left point should EXACTLY meet the diagonal right edge of the airplane.

Step 4: Folding Continues

Fold #5 - Fold the plane in half in on itself, then unfold. You’ll use that middle crease as a guide.

Fold #6 - After you’ve unfolded the previous step, fold the top down so that its edge meets the bottom edge.

Step 5: More Folding

Fold #7 - Fold the top corners down so that their points meet at the middle crease.

Fold #8 - Unfold - (almost all steps in making this airplane, these creases are a guide.)

Fold #9 - Now take what was the top edge that you previously folded down (Fold #6) and fold it back up at the point where its edge meets the creases from the previous step.

Step 6: Still Folding!

Fold #10 - Fold the corners in yet again so that their edge meets both the edge of the top flap and the crease from two steps ago.

Fold #11 - Fold the wings in once more, this time simply folding along the crease that you already made. After this step your plane should have straight lines down from the top to the bottom.

Fold #12 - Fold the top down from where it meets the top of the wing flaps you created in the previous step.

Step 7: Almost Done Folding!

Fold #13 - Fold the whole thing in half outward. You want all the paper flaps on the outside of the airplane. ( At this point, folding can become tricky because of the thickness of the paper, be PATIENT. )

Fold #14 - Fold the wings down so that their edge meets the bottom edge of the plane.

Now open the plane so you can hold it.

Step 8: Final Touches!

- Add two One-Inch tape rolls to the insides of the planes wings to hold the plane together, Then push together! Now is the time to decorate your plane if you wish!

Fly that beautiful plane!
