Those exclamation marks are really annoying. Have you ever folded a square in half diagonally? That is exactly how you get the edge of a rectangle to lie along the other edge. As you can see from the photo, there is a diagonal impression in the paper on the left. This would imply that the corner being folded is the one that you folded the corner to in step 2. If you had bothered to pay closer attention to the photo, you would have noticed this, and the fact that this fold is very very easy
