For this project, you will need the following materials -

Craft knife

Scissors

Pencil

Cylindrical pen

Glue

Eraser

Tape measure

Starry string LED (copper wire) light set (or strong tea light)

5 paper cups (small)

Watch the video for full instructions. Happy crafting.

Do I need to be careful of the bulb that goes in this? It seems like it could be flammable

I need a lampshade for a table lamp I have. The base is 23 inches high, the ugly stained lampshade adds another 20 inches, making it too high to be practical in my house. I've been looking for interesting lampshade ideas and made on a larger scale, like with plastic milk cartons or maybe 2 liter bottles I think this would top up my lamp quite nicely. Thanks for the inspiration! Although I doubt I will ever be able to freehand cut straight lines like you do. The paper cup flower lights would look so cute as a string of led lights too. Hmmn, I bet my "little princess" granddaughters would love them.
