About: An aspiring artist. Visit me at https://www.instagram.com/erilyth_art/

This is a marble run made from Paper and some Wire.

It took me 4 week ends to completer it
The marble run lasts approx 20 seconds

We are going to use the other white side of the printing paper to make the marble run.

Materials required
Printed Paper(About 200 printed pieces of paper .I got mine from old school dump.)
Internet wire(In this instructable I will call it wire)
Glue gun
Some working space
Duct tape
Cardboard(You go behind a shop and search for cartons and then cu out a piece of box board out of it and use it)You require 2 cartons.

Step 1: Making the Stand

Take 4 pieces of A4 paper and roll them into tubes as thin as you can.
Then join the 4 of them using duct tape. This is set A

Make 3 set A's then join them together side by side as shown in the pictureThis is Set B

Step 2: Completing the Stand

Make 4 set B's .

Step 3: Making Connectors

Take some paper and roll it into a tube then cut it into pieces of 3 cm .

Step 4: Completing the Stand

Take your connectors and and put them as shown in the picture and connect all the set B's as shown in the picture

Now you have a stand which looks like the one in the picture.

Step 5: Making the Stand Stand Up

take some more connectors and attach them to the base as shown in the picture

Step 6: Making the Base

Take some cardboard and put some glue on half of the cardboard and then take the other half and fold it on the side with the glue.

Then make a small hole in the center where you are going to place the stand.

Step 7: Attaching the Stand to the Base

Put lots of glue in the hole in the base and then put the stand on as shown in the picture

Then attach 4 paper tubes on the sides for support as shown in the last picture.

Step 8: Making Tracks

Take paper and roll them into tubes and attach two of them side by side with a 1 cm space.Take 2 connectors and glue them on the edges of the tracks.
These will be the straight tracks that we use in the whole model.

Take the wire and strip the rubber of .
Then bend them in any shape you want for example a "U" make 2 of them 1 small and 1 a bit bigger then place them as shown in the picture and glue them attaching the 2 connectors on the ends as shown in the picture
We are going to use this wire to make any curved tracks or loop-de-loop tracks or zig-zag tracks or mountain and valley tracks.

Step 9: Start Making the Marble Run

Take 2 straight tracks and 1 u turn track and join them together as shown in the picture

Then attack it to the top of the marble run as shown in picture 2

Step 10: Making the Tracks 1

Now take your wire and make left turn tracks and  place it around the stand slowly going downwards as shown in the pictures.

Step 11: Making the Tracks 2

Make a zig-zag track as shown in the picture with the wire and attach it to the base as shown in the picture.

Making support for the track and for the marble
Take a piece of A4 paper and roll it into a tube and then place it as shown in the picture to make support for the track

Take the wire and make small L shapes with it and place it on the sides of the track as shown in the picture Black is the trackRed is the small L shaped pieces of wire

Step 12: Making the Tracks 3

Make a U track and attach it as shown in the picture

Step 13: Making the Tracks 4

Take 2 pieces of wire and attach them 1 cm apart then bend them into a L ish shape and then attach a straight track to it.

Then attach this set to the marble run as shown in the picture.

Step 14: Making the Tracks 5

Take 2 pieces of wire and bend them to the left and then to the right as shown in the picture  and join them with a 1 cm gap in between them and glue them and attach them to the track and attach your L shaped pieces of wire on the sides where it bends as you have done before.

Step 15: Completing the Tracks 5

Then attach a straight track and then attach a U shaped track  as shown in the picture.

Step 16: Making the Tracks 6

Take some straight tracks and widen them up at the end and attach them to 2 walls as shown in the picture
This is a go,fall,go,fall,go,fall track

To make the walls you need to attach 5 pieces of paper tubes together.
If you need any help with this part comment and I will send you instructions and the measurements on how to make this.

Step 17: Making the Tracks 7

Then attach the track you made in the before step to the base.

Step 18: Making the Tracks 8

Make a mountainy track and then attach a straight track to it.

Then attach a U shped track and another straight track to it

Now make another u shaped track and attach it to the straight track
I did not post pictures of this step because I could only post upto 100 pics:(

Then take a straight track andband it into a U shape as shown in the picture
This will be the last track of your marble run and NOW YOU ARE DONE!!!

Step 19: Making the Tracks 8 in Another Way

Note that this is an update on how to end the marble run in a different way.

I made this update because I got 25 marbles yesterday so I changed th

You make 1 U turn track and then attach a small straight track as shown in the picture.

To make the time stopper you just take a piece of paper and smash it and then place it where the speed of the marble is  5 mph as shown in the video.

Step 20: Some Video's and Pics

If you have any doubts on how to make any step please comment and I will give detailed instructions and the measurements on how to make that part

PLEASE COMMENT,RATE AND SUBSCRIBE!!

Step 21: Making the Lights

Take 2 9 V batteries and connect them to 4 LED's with their appropriate resistors.

Step 22: Completing and the Final Result

Stick the setting on the marble run

MAKE SURE THE FOUR LED'S COME ON THE SIDES AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURE!!!

Step 23: Some Pictures of the Shadows

These are some pictures of the shadow made by the marble run on my ceiling.

Step 24: Making the Boundaries

Take some cardboard and cut them as shown in the picture and make 12 of them

Step 25: Completing the Edges and Making the Marble Storage

Join three of the pieces of cardboard and they should look similar to the picture
Make 4 sets of these.

Stick these four sets on the four edges as shown in the picture and paint them or cover them with duct tape.

Take a plastic box and cover it with duct tape as shown in the picture and stick it anywhere you like on the base.

Step 26: Now to Paint the Whole Thing

Take spray paint or normal paint and paint the whole thing.
I painted it in silver because I though it will look good and I made a mess in my house.
If the same happens to you then go to ebay and buy spray paint remover which costs 10 dollars.
