Personalized picnic ware? Yes! Most definitely yes! Nice enough for both picnic table and casual dining table.

This is what happens when scrap plywood, a few tools, art supplies and miscellaneous household items are lingering around. The result was adorable yet functional.  The artwork was completed with almost the ease of a "paint-by-number" project. Except, well, there were no numbers.  :)

That is why I chose a simple design that was easy to duplicate as I am no artist.

I occasionally dabble in crafts, however, so I had all the supplies on hand which made it even better!

I will walk you through the steps of my project, but you can use an original design, or any photo, poster, or other traceable item to complement your own decorating style.

Oh how cute! This is a great idea for an outside dinner too - I can't even count the number of times both the plates and the napkins have gone flying away. :D

So true about the flying plates! We actually eat a LOT of our meals outside since we have such wonderful weather here. Thanks for the comment, jessyratfink :)
