Paracord Contest Winners

Instructables is happy to announce the winners of the Paracord Contest!

We had a suspicion that the community could dream up some other paracord projects besides the survival paracord bracelet and boy were we right!  As you can see from the winners below, you guys have once again pushed the boundaries and shown the world some amazing examples of things that can be made with paracord.

Also, don't forget to check out all of the other great entries on the contest page.

I just made a platform bed held together entirely by paracord. :) It's not the cutest thing in the world though. :)

Did you take pics? I'm making a loft bed like the first one that comes up if you do a search for "loft bed" on here, but I'm using eye bolts and paracord to hold the mattress instead of slats. I'm curious as to how well it works. I wanted more flexibility than 2x4s and figured suspending it on wire or paracord would work, and I picked paracord because 1. my husband's military, and 2. I know I can secure it better than I could wire.

Sorry but you are wrong. You can buy paracord pretty much ANYWHERE. If you are really stuck, try Ebay. There is lots on there.

Nice job winners!  I learned something useful from a great many of the entries in this contest, so intangibly, I'd say it's a win for everybody!

Oh man, I just had an idea.  A paracord Pawleys Island hammock.  Not original enough for a contest entry, but would be cool to show off.

Congrat's to the winners.
