Step 1: Ingridients
• 150g. of tagliatelle
• 250 gr. chantarelle mushrooms
• smoked tofu with almond and sesame seed
• 1 clove garlic
• chilli to taste
• 50ml soya cream
• 1tbsp olive oil
• salt,pepper to taste
• 1tbsp wine
• 1tbsp lemon juice
Step 2: Directions:
Boil tagliatelle in saucepan until al dente. Once they are cooked, drain them and stir into the mushroom sauce.For the mushroom sauce:Wash each chantarelle mushroom separately because they might have tiny worms or other things which you wouldn`t want in your plate. The best practice for checking a mushroom to verify it is clear of worms is by cutting the mushroom into slices and to check if they have needle-size brown tunnels.
Step 3: Cut the Tofu Into Small Cubes.
If you cannot find smoked tofu with almonds and sesame seed you can use some other tofu, I am sure it would still taste good! Pan-fry the cubes in some olive oil until they turn golden.
Step 4: How to Peel Garlic Easy and Fast
Here you can see the easiest way to peel garlic without having your nails smell.
1.Remove the top
2.Press the clove with the heel of your hand
3. Remove the skin. If it doesn`t with one hand, try with both!
Step 5: Cook the Sauce for the Pasta
Chop the garlic and put it in the frying pan with some olive oil (or butter ). Add the chantarells and the wine. Put a lid to steam the mushrooms.
Step 6: Add the Cream
Add the cream, the chopped chillies, some salt pepper and lemon to taste. Chop or grate the walnuts and add them to the sauce.
Step 7: Voila!
Decorate the plate nicely so that first you eat with your eyes! :D
