You should probably double-boil this step, but that's just me being a safe chef.

hi just saw this awesome instructable really want to make it, but we dont have peanut butter cups or chips here in australia, is there any substitute that will make it just as delicious?
Zetheros says: Dec 13, 2009. 12:06 PM
Well, peanut butter cups are basically peanut butter with a coating of chocolate, so I'm sure you could substitute with just peanut butter and chocolate. Chips, on the other hand, are harder to replace, but I suppose you can use chocolate bars that contain little paraffin wax.

If I remember correctly "the original lolly shop" in melbourne central sells reeces cups
asch246 says: Dec 9, 2009. 5:06 AM
My brother in law buys them all the time in melbourne for my wife.
I'll try and find out where he gets them and post here.
They are available in Australia, just hard to find (getting easier though!).

Dose Australia have Peanut Butter there??? A few years back  when I was in grade school ,,,,,OK it was a longtime ago 20 some years , We had a guy come from there and he told us they did not know about Peanut Butter , They had something close to it made from some kind of bug larva. Not to knock on the the food there I am sure it would be of descent taste. I have not  yet eaten any true Australia quizzing. Outback is far from the true Australia menu like other kinds of different contrary menus here in the USA .

instead of the peanut butter cups, you could use another type of chocolate candy. And for the sauce you could try an equivalent amout of peanut butter and add the condensed milk to that.

i hope that helps

Try a chocolate topping. Replace PB chips with chocolate.

Sweet.  I'll have to try this for my sister's birthday party - she's a peanut butter and choco-holic.

You know an instructable is an epic win when it passes 4 stars while having only 83 views. This is awesome!

The final pic makes this look really tempting & tasty! (But for some reason the hyphenated combos "diabetic-coma" and "cardiac-arrest" are popping into my head..)
