This pen crossbow is very strong and could seriously hurt a person or animal. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INJURIES CAUSED BY THIS CROSSBOW!!!!!

Step 1: Materials Needed

You will need:

> BIC pen (No, I'm not just partial to their brand. Their pens work the best out of any other I have tried.)
>Needle Nose Pliers
>Tape
>Scissors
>Staple Remover or Knife
>Rubber Band

First picture is all the materials that will be added into the pen crossbow

Step 2: Take Apart the Pen

The title pretty much explains it-- take the pen apart.

Step 3: Cut the Pen

After you take the pen apart you should have at least one long tube and the pen's ink tube ( Don't take the pointy part off the pen. That part will be the arrow.) Take the tube and cut it about one third from either side.

Step 4: Poke a Hole

Now you need to take your knife or staple remover and poke a hole through both sides of the middle of your longest piece.

Step 5:

Now, tape the shortest piece to the middle of the longest piece so that there is a hole running through the whole pipe. Look at the picture so that you can see what I'm talking about. Make sure you do this right. If you don't, then the crossbow won't work.

Step 6:

Poke two holes with the staple remover in both sides of the long piece. Look at the picture. You will only need to use one of the two holes you poked on both sides. Again, just look at the picture, it will explain it. The arrows show where to poke the holes. (You should already have a hole in the middle.)

Step 7: Rubber Band Time

Cut the rubber band in half and then cut both ends diagonally so that there is a point.

Step 8: Tie the End

Now tie the rubber band through the hole at one of the ends of the long tube. Use the pliers to reach inside and grab the rubber band. Do a double knot. If the rubber band breaks, I know it's frustrating, but you have to get a new one and start over from step 7. :(

Step 9: Tie the Other End

Do the same thing you did on the other side. Tie the rubber band. Use the pliers to reach inside and grab the rubber band. Make sure the rubber band is tight or it won't shoot far.

Step 10: You're Done!!

Now put the pen in the hole, pull back on the rubber band, and watch it fly.
