Peppermint Toads by yota

I made this creme by accident one day, and it was delicious. Put it in the form of a toad and you've got another sweet straight from Honeyduke's!

Peppermint + White Chocolate + Marshmallow = AWESOME

Is the mold plastic? How do you pop out the frogs?

I've got the same mold. Yes, it is plastic. You should spray some food-release or non-stick spray into the molds before using them, and they'll just pop right out with a little wiggling and tapping. It's not difficult at all.

What about your wand?
yota (author) says: Oct 10, 2011. 9:42 PM
My wand was born of a bit of boredom, during which time I took a Dremel to a dowel, then painted it a dark brown, then painted a brushing of antique gold colour, and wiped it away, lightly, after a few moments of drying.

It's really nice, I actually just bought a dremel and i have some dowels... :D I may just try this out. and use some fancy stain. :)

If you go to: http://lonelantern.deviantart.com/art/Peppermint-Toad-Box-200823229

You should be able to click on "Download File," and it should work. Just in case it doesn't, though, here is a direct link: http://www.deviantart.com/download/200823229/peppermint_toad_box_by_lonelantern-d3bkc71.pdf

Let me know if you have any further problems, and thank you for the comment! Hope you enjoy it!

Where in the WORLD did you make that box? I'm planning on making some movie-accurate Chocolate Frogs. I know how to make the Witches and Wizard cards. I also know how to make the frogs themselves. But the BOX is driving me crazy. What are your secrets????????
yota (author) says: Jul 14, 2011. 8:21 AM
There's a ink to the box artwork in the final step; you can print it out and make one yourself.

If you just want a chocolate frog box, someone over at deviantart.com recreated it and the folding pattern by hand, so if you just search for "chocolate frog box" or something like that, you should be all good!

Your publications on Harry Potter themes candies are so much fun! I'm going to have to try them out on a couple of my friends.
