Introduction: Pepperoni Pizza Egg Rolls (10 Minutes)
Pepperoni Pizza Egg Rolls in 10 minutes!?!? This dish is a unique twist on Pizza and a total WINNER!! (Literally!) I've made this Instructable thanks to the recipe of @iamsimplykimmy, winner of the @walmartMVPcontest! It was so great to meet and film with her!! I had the opportunity to taste them on set and I knew I had to have more! These little guys are super fast/easy to make and are a total crowd pleaser! It's a great party food/appetizer or just a fun dinner with the kiddos.
- 12 Egg Roll Wrappers
- 48 slices pepperoni
- 12 Mozzarella Sticks (at room temperature)
- Marinara sauce (warmed)
- Oil for frying
Step 1: Assemble the Egg Rolls
Place 4 slices of pepperoni in the center of one egg roll wrapper, followed by one mozzarella stick. Wrap the roll by folding the bottom edge of the wrapper over the filling and rolling once, tightly. Add some water to the top corner of the wrapper and down the exposed sides. Fold in the edges and finish rolling, tightly. Repeat with the remaining wrappers/pepperoni/cheese.
Step 2: Fry and ENJOY!!
Heat 1/2 inch of oil in a pan over medium heat (about 350 degrees F). Add the rolls in batches and cook for 3 minutes. Flip the rolls and cook an additional 3 minutes, until the rolls are golden brown. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve with marinara sauce and ENJOY!!
