Introduction: Pink Salmon Paddies
Hey everybody.This is my 2nd instructable . Enjoy.(This is my mom 's boss's recipe.)
Step 1: Ingredients
1 can of pink salmon - serves 4-6 depending on paddy size. you can use fresh salmon if you like.
1/2 onion
small bunch of celery
small bunch parsley
1 egg beaten
italian bread crumbs
garlic powder, white pepper, paprika
Step 2: Prepping Meat
Seperate all bones from salmon.Chop onion, celery, and parsley;Add chopped onion, celery, and parsley to salmon.Then add beaten egg, sprinkle bread crumbs,garlic powder,White pepper and paprika.Mix well and form mixture (Salmon,chopped onion, celery, and parsley) into paddies.Let set in fridge 3-6 hrs.
Step 3: Ready, Set, Fry!
When ready to fry,leave paddies alone to reach room temperature.Heat oil. (enough to cover bottom of paddies)
Fry paddies, allowing the first side to get medium brown before turning, repeat.Blot in a paper towel.For a a little spicyness, before frying, add ground cayennne pepper or flakes and chili powder.
Step 4: Enjoy!!!
