The original pattern pieces that I made were not full length, as you can see in photo 2.  I just positioned the front and back pattern pieces to add four inches and utilize the existing bottom hem from the adult jerseys. 

In the attached PDF, I've laid out the front and back pattern pieces full length plus one extra inch to make your own hem if needed.  If you make this using an old adult jersey like I did and are able to use the existing bottom hem, then subtract the extra inch from the bottom of the pattern pieces.

I cut out two shoulder pieces for each jersey to double up the shoulder section, so it would be thicker and more like a real jersey.
