A good time to add details
I made decorative stripes, logos, numbers, and the letters of our last name to put on the jerseys using an iron-on adhesive. 

The particular brand I used was called "Wonder Under."  A backing is ironed on to a fabric of your choice, then you cut out the desired shapes, remove the backing, and iron the pieces down where you want. 

I had never used the stuff before, but found it pretty neat and easy to use.
