Pipe a Pi Pie!

Pipe a Pi pie...Pipe a pi pie...how many times can you say it and how fast??? sounds like a beat right?
Here is my Pi day  Pi Pie... ( sounds like a rap :-D)

It's a very basic choux pastry piped in pi shape. and filled with my creamy savory chicken filling ....
Follow my instructions and see if you like the taste of it like i do!

Step 1: Ingredients

Ingredients :

Choux Pastry

4oz/100g butter
250g flour
4 eggs (medium size would be perfect)
1/2 pint water
pinch of salt

Filling
100 g shredded chicken
100g  mushrooms finely chopped
2 capsican chilli finely chopped
2 tbs coriander/ parsley  leaves finely chopped

White sauce- 2tbs butter
                         2tbs flour
                         1/4 tsp salt
                         1 cup milk boiled with finely chopped onion and one garlic clove.

I wonder would the filling taste good cold? It sounds like it might make a good sandwich spread :-) Thanks for sharing, and good luck on the contest!

Sorry for the delay in reply.....i wanted to try it and see before i commented...and yes....it's a delicious sandwich spread...never thought to use it till you asked :-)

No need to apologize--I'm impressed you went and tried it! I will definitely put this on the list to try. I also do a relatively easy meal where I fill crescent roll dough with a chicken, cream cheese, and spinach filling, and I think your filling could easily substitute there. The thing I find neatest about things like Instructables is we share knowledge, and build on it, and come out with more and more awesome things just by sharing!
