I use these easy to make solar ovens all the time when I am camping to cook biscuits etc. they are great an don a sunny day can cook almost as fast as an energy wasting oven.

Step 1: Gather your supplies

You will need

Materials:
-1 Pizza Box (or two to make a deeper one)
-Some aluminum foil (i used heavy duty)
-tape or fencing wire
Tools:
Box cutter, scissors, or razor blade it doesn't really matter (OPTIONAL)
Paint (optional)
wire cutters

By the way....... You could get your pizza box for FREE if you go to a local pizzeria and just ask for a box.

Good Idea however the loss of heat is not a good idea, The better idea would be to construct a metal box that has the same size possibly could be used with a portable camp stove and a pizza box maybe deeper for pan Pizza! A Good idea would be to put a thermostat on the top to see the exact temp of the box. Any meta;l working shop can make you this item cheap! or if you have a bender make it your self add flip top.

I have tried to build these a few times and I have never gotten a pizza box cooker to get hotter than 190°f, although I have had success with other solar cooker designs. I don't see how this one would get even that hot since it does not have any plastic cover to prevent the heat from convecting off the food into the air. I would love to see a picture of the cooked biscuits.
