Introduction: Pizza Making With the Kids - 30 Minutes

About: I become interested in DIY when I had the opportunity as a teenager to build a racing bicycle from scratch. That was such a fun experience! Since then, I've built alot of fun stuff and now I get to create t…

Getting my children to sit down and eat dinner is never an easy task!    We also need to keep them busy especially right before dinner  or else they get cranky....So my beautiful wife came up with the idea of making pizza.  With the logic that if they make it, they will eat and sure enough she was right!

Quick side note: back when we lived in New York City, a local pizza place would give us dough. Sometimes, it never hurts to ask.

I grabbed my bike and headed out to our local tj's and With a clump of dough in hand and some tj's tomato sauce, we had our base.  Next we had to figure out our toppings, J-man likes cheese and Naomi loves Mushrooms. And we can't forget our plate cleaner Buckley who likes mushrooms and cheese and anything else you bring his way. .

Step 1: spread out flour to keep the dough from sticking to the table or rolling pin. Next get those kids working spreading out the dough.
Step 2: add sauce, cheese and toppings, don't forget to add olive oil on the edges to get that crust - crusty
Step 3: get them in that oven on top of a pizza stone.
Step 4: bake for 15 minutes
Step 5: take out of oven, let cool and then watch those kids chow down!

Boun Appetito!
