These are our family favourite, they taste great.

Like pizza? You'll like this. They're great for snacks or lunch.

Step 1: Ingredients

The only measurement we use for this is temperature of the oven and the amount of pastry sheets. The rest is up to you.

You'll need: (Makes roughly 24 'wheels)
2 sheets of pastry (Either shortcrust or puff, I prefer puff)
Tomato Paste*
Grated Cheese

*You can use an other sauce base.

Other ideas:
VERY Finely Diced Bacon
Onion
Salsa
Capsicum

Step 2: Set & Spread

Set your fan-forced oven to 180 Degrees Celcius (355 ish Fahrenheit).
Line trays with baking paper.

Once your pastry has defrosted (if frozen), spread the sauce on the base (see image for optimal amount).

Step 3: Sprinkle & Roll

Sprinkle the cheese on and roll it! Be sure to press it tight so it holds together when you cut it!

Step 4: Cut and Bake

This is probably the hardest part of the whole i'Ble.

Gently use a sharp knife ( I used a bread knife and a steak knife, both had similar results.) to cut roughly 1cm of the roll. Lay sideways on the tray and bake until golden brown.

Best stored cold. I prefer them eaten cold too ;).

Want a sweet pinwheel?

Step 5: Variation: Caramel Pinwheels

This is a tad harder thanks to the caramel.

You just need pastry and a tin of "Top And Fill Caramel".

Spread the caramel like the tomato paste in the Pizza version, but very thin, you do not need much or it goes everywhere.

Also, try dipping these in left over caramel before consumption. Again, store in fridge or freezer.

(Sorry for the bad images).
