Quija boards are a great way to spend time even if you think that spirits aren't real. But to play with one you need a planchette, or pointer. This is how to make one out of a thick poster board/cardboard.
Things you'll need:
-a marker (any color)
-a piece of paper
-3-D stickers or little felt circles(optional)
Step 1: Getting the Base
Cut a piece of the board so your hand can fit on it.
Step 2: Sketching the Planchette
Planchettes can be any shape as long as it has either a point or a window. Common ones have both and look like a long heart like the one I made.
Step 3: Cutting the Board Into a Planchette
Cut out the template you made in the last step, trace it onto the board and cut.
Step 4: Placing the Stickers (OPTIONAL)
This step isn't required to do. It does make the planchette easier for the spirit to move since there would be less friction.
The pink dots on the planchette (on the right) is where you should start putting the stickers. (The more you add the less friction there is)
