Plastic Bags

Everyone has thousands of those pesky little plastic grocery store bags, and unless you're picking up puppy poo you don't have much to do with them. Well, now you do. Before you throw them into the trash, only to pollute the ocean, you should try some of these Instructables. You can find that these projects are as easy as ironing a shirt, braiding some rope, or even knitting a purse.

I use plastic bags from stores for lining my trash cans (almost all in my house) and as a hanging trash bag in my car. I'd recycle the lot if I didn't.

you can use plastic bags to line your hosue with. if like me i have access to the floorboards we save the plastic bags up from shopping etc and scrunch them up very lightly and pu them under the floorbaords and it traps the heat and keep the houue very warm. insualte yourt hosue for free, but you cant scrunch them up hard othertwise it will; take many years for you to complete one floor. scrunch them lighyl and you will have completed one room before you know it. check out my instructabel @ http://www.instructables.com/id/A_SOLAR_POWERED_MOBILE_PHONE/

thanks

We use plastic bags, "scrunched" up, for packing boxed items we mail. They are easier to use and cleaner than plastic "popcorn", ugh! Also, lighter to ship. You can stuff them into all the areas around the article and that keeps the article from shifting. If we receive anything padded with the "popcorn" we save it in a large black garbage bag and then take it to our "Mail&Ship store and they use it.

Nov 24, 2008. 5:03 PMrandofo says:
You just need to be born with it. It is hereditary (passed down usually from your mother's side).

I cant tell whats going on in that pic. its like an illusion. that box with the bottle and the cat and all that stuff. I cant tell where gravity is. We use plastic bags to line the garbage can. Then like that you dont have to buy bags that you will purposely throw out. I dont get why people but them.

buying is in the size....hmmm new idea for instructable (fusing?) small bags to make 30 gallon trash bags? and the little ones are nicely scented....hmmm another instructable idea? anyway i'm guilty of buying the small ones for my home restroom when i lived alone, and now there are very small ones for diaper disposal on the go...ever forget that emergecy side of the road diaper in the car late at night when u get home? those tiny bags came in handy 100 at dollar store for a buck....i still have some and my kid is 4 now. it was nice that they were in a nice dispenser box that fit compactly in the diaper bag. they too smelled nice.
Feb 27, 2009. 3:36 PMplzspoilme25 says:
i guess if i was a true tree hugger green freak i would have been using cloth diapers...hmmm to lazy for that...seems that the water usage plus cost of energy to run the washer and dryer(in winter)and soap cost, and pollution would out way the actual savings to earth by not using plastic diapers???
Nov 24, 2008. 2:40 PMmg0930mg says:
Yeah, we do to. My cat's laying down. :D The box is paintballs, and the black bottle is a co2 tank.
Nov 23, 2008. 11:26 PMikoda says:

Nov 24, 2008. 12:13 PMmg0930mg says:
