Plastic Bottle Floating Chlorinator

This instructable is for keeps our swimming pool water safe and clean, chlorine eliminates most dangerous contaminants. You need only a plastic bottle, chlorine tablets and some tool for make several holes in bottle body.

I would never put chlorine tablets in my toilet tank again. Even in a large pill bottle with the smallest holes drilled in it, still ate any rubber seals and metal in the internals within a matter of weeks. (The bowl was, however, the cleanest it's ever been LOL).

GREAT IDEA................now to wait for Memorial Day. Right now the pool is under 3 feet of snow and ice!

That is an interesting idea. Do you think that you could make a small one out of a 20 oz soda bottle and use it in the toilet tank. This might keep the toilet clean and using the cheaper pool chlorine tablets than the expensive toilet chlorine tablets?
