Plumbers Pipe Bench

I had seen plumbers pipe tables around the net but had a hard time finding benches, I finally made one of my own, super easy to make and not that expensive, it was just the touch I was looking for to go with my board and batten wall and air return vent I made, go here for more information!

Using 1/2" gas pipes I put the pieces together, as you can see in the photo diagram, then attached the wood top!  The wood top is a piece of 2" x 12" douglas fir cut down to about 30" wide.  I attached it with clips (a larger wooden top would have allowed the use of flanges to attach the wood to the base).
