Plush Toy Project

Plush Toy Project
Hello. My Name is Andrew.

This is my toy.
It's a stuffed doll based on a character I created. The size is 9in x 9in x 7in.

The outside is covered with 2mm white velboa fabric, soft and almost silky fabric that a lot of stuffed dolls use.
We cut large patterns out of a large sheet, into 4 sections (face front and back, body front and back).
We begin stitching the pieces together, but leave and opening.

We then stuff the inside with pieces of vinyl foam to fill the round shape.
It is then stitched closed, around the side of the head and arms/legs with minor upward stitching around the face to reinforce the shape.

The final step are the eyes and mouth. It's preferable to use and embroidery machine, but you can also cut pieces of black felt, and stitch them on by hand, which also gives a nice home craft effect.

A few days ago, I began a Kickstarter project to fund more toys.
Please take a look. I appreciate any kind of support you can give me.
