Step 2: Remove the pocket

You will be using the kangaroo pocket as material for the ears. Remove the stitching on the top and sides with a seam ripper, then cut across the bottom. Ripping the bottom seam may also remove the band around the bottom of the sweatshirt depending on the construction, so don't do that.
