Introduction: Popsicle Stick Bomb
Popsicle stick bombs are a fun and cheap craft great for children of all ages - don't worry, just because it's called a bomb doesn't mean it's actually dangerous! They come in many different shapes, but the one I've chosen here is one of the simplest, requiring only 4 sticks. Once you've gotten the hang of it, you can move onto more complex bombs with chain reactions and specific shapes.
Step 1: What You Need
Exploding popsicle sticks come is many different shapes and sizes - this super simple popsicle only requires 4! Of course, the more colorful the sticks, the better the bomb will look.
What you need: 4 popsicle sticks
Step 2: Make a V
Make a V shape with two of the sticks - note that the two sticks actually overlap (it won't work if they aren't)!
Step 3: Crossover
Take a third stick and cross it at an angle over the two. Again, the blue popsicle stick needs to overlap the red and green one.
Step 4: Final Stick
Up until now, the steps have been pretty easy - it's this final stick that gives the structure enough tension to "explode" when you throw it. Take the fourth and final stick and weave it under the red and green sticks, but over the blue. Once you've done that, throw it at a target and watch it explode when it hits!
