I wanted to listen to books on CD while I walked but my CD player did not come with a belt clip or strap. I decided to crochet a pouch. I looked for CD patterns and found quite a few here http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory/cds.php. I choose to make this first one with a few modifications http://members.aol.com/_ht_a/cillcrochets/CDcoast.html. I crocheted the CD sized circles with Lion Brand Incredible, ribbon yarn, in my favorite color (any shade of blue). After joining the two circles 3/4 of the way around I added a strap croceted to the length I found comfortable. I am now happily listening to books while I walk. I am making more for co-workers who also want their hands free while walking and listening. This also makes a great quick gift that teens and as well as adults would love.
