## Introduction: Portable Chess Board Game

Being in a dorm, there isn't really much room for storing things that dont ENTIRELY relate to college let alone all the things you need for college anyway. Many people miss out on great opportunities to bring their board games along with them, no need to fear, PORTABLE CHESS BOARD GAME TUTORIAL IS HERE XD

## Step 1: Materials

-Any colouring pens

-Pencil

-Ruler (or at least something that can be used as a ruler)

-Blue Tac

-Notepad (this is easier to make with a larger notepad but i used a smaller one as it is more portable and compact)

## Step 2: Step 1: the Grid/Outline

Draw an 8x8 grid in the center of one of the notepad pages :)

Jesus loves you btw :D

## Step 3: Step 2: Colouring

Colour every second square of the grid in black (or a dark colour) in a checker-like pattern as shown :)

John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

## Step 4: Step 3: Finished Coloured Grid

This is what the grid should sort of look like after colouring :)

## Step 5: Step 4: Paper

Move other things to the side and get the piece of paper :)

## Step 6: Step 5: Folding Prt1

Fold the piece of paper in half like so :)

## Step 7: Step 6: Folding Prt2

Fold the folded paper once again so it looks like so :) God bless you

## Step 8: Step 7: Cutting Out

Cut a small circle out of the piece of folded paper, repeat this process eight times on the piece of paper

NOTE: The paper can be folded over once more in the previous step so that you only have to cut 4 squares into the circle as each circle cut will give you 8 pieces of the same shaped circle because of the 8 layers of folded paper. This paper has 4 layers since its been folded twice)

## Step 9: Step 8: Finished Circles

Once you've finished step 7 this is what you should end up with; 32 small circles

NOTE: In the picture you will see 4 extra circles (36 in total), these 4 are used for spares. Sorry for the confusion if i caused any, Jesus loves you :D

## Step 10: Step 9: Pens

Get the circles and put them with your pens.

God bless :)

## Step 11: Step 10: Colouring the Circles

The circles of paper will act as your chess pieces:

Colour in 16 circles with one colour and the other 16 with another colour

Make symbols for the chess pieces on each different coloured set (16 circles per set) using a black (or dark coloured) pen (optional: i used a fineliner because the circles are quite small):

1x King

1x Queen

2x Bishop

2x Knight

2x Castle

8x Pawn

To find a symbol for each type of chess piece you can find them here: https://www.google.com.au/webhp?sourceid=chrome-in...

OR you can just copy mine.

THE FINISHING PRODUCT SHOULD LOOK SOMEWHAT LIKE MINE :)

Jesus loves you so much :)), haha congratulations if youve gotten to this step, YOURE DOING GREAT!

## Step 12: Step 11: Finishing the Chess Pieces

Add a small amount of blue tac to the bottom of each chess piece until youve finished every one.

## Step 13: Step 12: DONE

Add the finished chess pieces to the chess board

If you'd like you can add a bit of your own flair to it and customise the board as i have (i added some cool colour matching drawings of food onto the notepad page to add some interest and eye candy haha)

Hope you all had a great time reading or making, GOD BLESS YOU ALL, Jesus loves you so much and i know i keep saying it, i hope i havent annoyed you XD but its true and if you would like to know my personal testimony of the amazing things (including raising my nan from medical death, nan seeing Jesus and heaven, healing my mother of cancer and many other things) God has done in my life, please feel free to msg me anytime on here or instagram @unboxed_ideas HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY :)

John 14:6King James Version (KJV)

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
