this is the second version of my home built portable speaker the main change that i made is a better battery and bigger speakers the third version will have a better enclosure and more higher quality speakers (more bass and treble) this was made with parts that i had laying arround so i did not cost me anything in this instructable i will explain what i did and i hope to help you on your way to make your own portable speakers.

DISCLAIMER: MY KNOWLAGE ABOUT SPEAKERS AND PROPPER ENCLOSURES IS MINIMAL AT BEST THIS IS NOT TO BE TAKEN AS THE BEST OPTIONS THIS WAS MY SECCOND ICH ATTEMPT

Please excuse my english it is not my first language :3

Step 1: The Old Vs the New

Here you see the old speakers vs the new speakers as you can see the new ones are a lot bigger (About 4 times as big).

With this i got a lot more volume and a lot more bass

Step 2: The Elcectronics

So what i did was i took an old amp form a pair of pc speakers and repaired it.
Next i took an rc battery i had and taped off off the 4th cell to get arround 5/6 volts (the amp needs 5 but it'll work on 6.
And i added a on off switch.

Step 3: Conclusion

So this is basicly what i did to make a crude portable speaker if you have any questions or any tips leave them in the comments.

I will be making more portable speakers aka a v3 that one will be of higher quality and will work better

That's a great looking speaker. Excellent first instructable!

thanks ill sure be making more in the future

I really look forward to it!
