Portal 2 Turret

Portal 2 is an awesome game and the turrets were one of my favorite parts (even though they shoot at you).  I wanted to make one and I had the parts, so I did.

Items:
Styrofoam egg
Black twisty- ties
Red LED
Glue dots
Paper
3V button battery

Tools:
Sand paper
Box cutter
Scissors

Step 1:

I started with a Styrofoam egg that I found from another project.  I bought mine at Micheal's about two years ago (I never used them since).

This is really cool, I also love the turrets... Also portal and portal 2 have the same turrets, JUST SAY'N.

Actually, they don't. Rocket turrets only appear in Portal, While Defective Turrets, Frankenturrets, the Prima Donna Turret, and the Animal King Turret only appear in Portal 2. Also, the turrets look slightly different in Portal 2 than they did in Portal. Visit this site for more info; http://theportalwiki.com/wiki/Turret

I meant that it's not specifically from portal 2, but from both portals, originally the first game...

Great instructable! Inspired me to make my own =] I covered the Styrofoam in bondo and painted it =]

I like this Instructable! It's made use of nice, cheap thing that you had to hand anyway, as opposed to the expensive stuff most of the other projects call for!
