Portal 2 Wheatley prop

Hi all you members of internet land! Today I'm gonna be teaching you how I built my life-sized Wheatley replica from the game Portal 2!

MATERIALS
you are going to need:
Sheets of "Fun Foam"
a Styrofoam ball (Ours was about 9 inches in diameter)
thick paper plates
an LED push-button light
a spinning stool-chair-thing
screws
and paint

Step 1:

determine the size of your Styrofoam ball. you need to measure the circumference and diameter.
Make sure you have enough "Fun Foam" to fill the dimensions of [Circumference x diameter]

Sorry, but 9 inches isn't life size. Go third-person mode. He's actually 3 or 4 feet in diameter!

Yes, he actually is! Again, go to third-person mode. He's about as big as Chell. He just appears smaller because of the POV vision.

Great prop for a great game! Now to figure out how to get some servos in this contraption and some randomly played .wav files via motion sensor as one strolls into the room.

i think for halloween im gonnat stick this on the end of the portal gun built by the prop nerds or as a high tech jack-o-lantern! thanks for the info!
