Step 6Finish legs
Make the last pass through the legs and pull the cord snug. Trim off the remaining loose ends leaving about an 1/8 inch.
Hold a steady flame on this 1/8 inch of fraying cord until it turns to a bubbly molten glob. Quickly put some spit on your thumb and moosh the hot glob smooth.
Repeat for the other leg.
