"Potion" earring

Welcome to my (first) able! in ths tutorial we will make a simple yet good-looking erring. I have a friend who love MMORPG games so i made this x-mass present for her. But please keep in mind that I have the best grammar in the world! <\irony>

ps.: it will roundly cost like ~1$ per piece

Step 1 What will you need?

-Small vials.
-Hanger
-Hidrochloric Acid
-Cork
-Glue
-Sand paper
-Cutter and blade
-Marker
-Wire
-Pliers
-Alcohol
-Food coloring
and some containers

For those willing to spend just a little bit more, and/or those without access to acid. (quickly looked this up because, while I've had enough lab experience to be cool with acids, the friends I know that might try this project most certainly do NOT, haha)

so where did you get the corks? this is an adorable tutorial btw.. but im wondering where on earth you found some so small!!!!!!!!!!

also, i was going to find some vials to put "fairy dust" in for little girls, but the perfume bottles are a GREAT idea.

the vials can be frm perfume/colone samples, or u can get empties with real cork corks frm a head shop

I'm sure there's a reason that I don't know, but why would you use alcohol instead of water for the potions? And where do those vials come from/where can you get some?

And other than vodka what other sources of alcohol could an underage Instructabarian use?

I used alcohol because i thought that it will be a long lasting liquid, i think (but not sure about it) that the water will change color after a long time... anyway you can use distilled water or ionizde water instead of alcohol. the only reason i used vodka is because it only contained water and etil-alcohol. but if you really want to use alcohol you can buy some at your local pharmacy, but I do not recommend it because the distilled water or ionized water is cheaper and safer.
