This activity is the Prank Handshake project from the
Little Bits project book that came with the Deluxe Kit.

Step 1: Prank Handshake

Find the battery in the kit.

Step 2: Prank Handshake

Connect the battery to the power cable.

Step 3: Prank Handshake

Connect the power cable to the power module.

Step 4: Prank Handshake

Turn the power switch on and see the power LED
turn on.

Step 5: Prank Handshake

Let us focus our attention on the LittleBits
components.

From now on, assume the battery is connected
to the other end of the power cable.

Step 6: Prank Handshake

Turn off the power module, then connect the
buzzer.

What happens when you turn on the power?

Step 7: Prank Handshake

Add a button between the power module and the
buzzer to control when the buzzer sounds.

Step 8: Prank Handshake

Add wires between the LittleBits to allow more room between components.

Step 9: Prank Handshake

Place the button in your hand, and fasten the
power module, battery, and buzzer to your arm with rubber bands. (Make sure the rubber bands are large enough so they don’t cut off your circulation!)
Cover your arm with long sleeves and shake someone’s hand!
