Project X4 XPLODER Mini K'nex Hand Grenade

Trainman's first bomb - a small but effective grenade that explodes upon impact, showering the area with spacers. And only nine* pieces means it's the first really practical lightweight grenade!

Pieces:
3 Red Rods
1 Red Connector
3 Orange Connectors
2 Gray Connectors

AND...
Rubberbands
2 Black Y-Connectors
Various Spacers (9 Gray or 27 Blue or anything in between)

It also comes with a safety lock!

*Not including ammo

Step 1: The Body, Part 1

Only Trainy can turn 9 pieces into so many steps...


Build the first part of the body and set it aside.

2 Gray Connectors
Total: 4 Pieces

try the splodies. alot better(no offence to darth trainman). the splodies only use 4 peices and are very powerfull. also they shoot rods insted of spacers.

cool, first time I threw, didn't understand lock, so it did nothing. Next time, i took the lock off with four #19 elastics on and it blew up in my face. Last time threw it, it spin and shot back in my face again. Pretty sweet grenade.

awesome grenade! also nice that it is so small!, i modified it a bit, now it has a intergrated spring, for more firepower, and it wont put any more force on the orange connectors, just on the one that "slides", and the ammo :)
