a normal realy wouldent stay on you would need a latching realy that keeps the realy on when triggerd

Nice simple alarm and very cool. I suggest you use a relay so that when the laser light is tripped, the siren won't stop making noise once the laser is again reflected to the photo cell. :)

Couldn't you also hook a motor to the side the laser shines on so when the beam is broken the motor moves the Receiver so the laser doesn't shine on it until you reset it?
