Introduction: Protecting Arduino From Electrical Damage

In this Instructable we look at ways to protect your Arduino design from electrical damage. We will look at protection methods against conditions like power supply over voltage, over current or over voltage on IO pins, and electrostatic discharge (ESD) events. We will look at various diodes to implement these protection schemes including zenor, schottky, and TVS. If you have any protection suggestions or adds please share them in the comments sections.
