The video shows parts of the pump, which operates on heads as low as 0.5 meter and suggests different uses for it.
very elegant design
What a great idea. Well done.
Have you built this yet?
I have built one about 20 years ago. (actually 3 or 4 prototypes that I scavanged for other projects and one that remains in use).<br/><div style="margin-left:15px;"> <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/oxJTC77PADQ"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/oxJTC77PADQ" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344" wmode="transparent"></embed></object></div> shows it in spring of last year.<br/>I do not know if anyone else has built one. I get a disproportianate amount of website traffic from India and the Philipines so I guess there are some there. It is also on the internet glossary of pumps.<br/>Hopefully there are some of them working away round the world.<br/>
Neat, thanks for sharing it.
cool, but you should put all the stuff in an instructable.
