The ingredients you will need to celebrate!

Doggy bone cake dish! or any cake or cupcake dish.

For the cake:
1 cup white or whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup shredded carrots
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup honey
1 egg

And for the frosting!!

Banana Carob Frosting
Combine the following ingredients and blend thoroughly:
2 cups mashed ripe banana
1 Tbs butter
6 Tbs carob powder
2 tsp vanilla
3 Tbs Unbleached flour
1 tsp cinnamon

Step 1: Mixing!

After, or before, you gathered you're ingredients pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees F or 180 degrees Celsius.

Once that is done Spray cake pan with cooking spray or lightly grease with cooking oil,

NOW it's time to mix!
Mix together flour and baking soda
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Pour into cake pan and stick it in the oven for 40 minutes, or until cooked evenly. You can tell by sticking a toothpick in the center...if the toothpick comes out clean then your puppy cake is good to go!

Step 2: Frosting!!

Once cake is done cooking set it aside to cool off. If cake is not cool enough then the process of removing it from the pan will be very difficult and cake may crumble.

Leave cake upside down to cool and when cooled give it a little shake or tap to let it gently fall out onto a plate to begin frosting.

While waiting for cake to cool you may begin to make frosting!

Banana Carob Frosting
Combine the following ingredients and blend thoroughly:
2 cups mashed ripe banana
1 Tbs butter
6 Tbs carob powder
2 tsp vanilla
3 Tbs Unbleached flour
1 tsp cinnamon

Once finished apply evenly to cake and smooth out!

For easier frosting you may apply just regular peanut butter!

Step 3: Decorating!

If you don't have a professional froster/decorator it's fine! You can make your own!!

All you need is a ziplock bad and some scissors!!

Put frosting in ziplock bag.
Use scissors to cut a tiny whole at one of the bottom edges to let frosting out. Hole depends on how much you want to come out!

Squeeze frosting through hole and start decorating/ writing!

ADD food coloring for extra color!
