Purple Fans - Child's Afghan

Purple Fans - Child\
36" x 42" child's afghan made with Lion Brand Baby Soft Lavendar. I used a double strand, #10 circular needles, and a pattern from Leisure Arts named Lullaby. This afghan was made for Project Linus, a charity which provides handmade security blankets to children undergoing serious medical procedures. I hope a little girl picks this one for herself. It is cushy soft.

Wow! That is a beautiful afghan. I've been crocheting since I was a child, and once knew how to knit as a child. I've recently taught myself again and practice daily. I can't wait to get started on higher levels of patterns! Your afghan really encourages me! It's beautiful!

This is a lovely pattern. It's very similar to one I knitted recently (also in a Leisure Arts book) called Baby sea shells - also in Lavender. You have knitted this beautifully. Lucky baby!
