Put lag free videos from your computer/Youtube onto Sansa players

Sansa video players experience audio lag on most videos over 5 minutes long. My Instructable will walk you through the steps to put Youtube videos and videos on your own computer onto your Sansa video player.

Step 1: Download software

The only software you will need to download is Rhapsody, which is Sansa'a 'version' of iTunes, and is developed by RealNetworks.

It is free, and since you only need it to transcode the videos, the 25 free song plays they give you shouldn't get used. You have to make an account I think, I did anyway.

yeah i know, i got this with my xmas money and the media converter always tells me to download the correct codec and wont read any of my videos.

I got 8 gig for Xmas too! XD Sansa Fuze rocks!!!

And I agree, SMC sux. It converted me Planet 51 (for a looong ride in a bus) for about 30 mins and lagged as soon as I fired it up! Man, The Rsharpsody thingy won't download in Israel... "Not available in Israel right now", But luckily they was stupid enough to put it on softpedia, here:

Yeah. I finally said 'screw it' and put Rockbox on my Fuze. It's totally flippin' sweet. Video playback is kinda a pain though.

Just say you are not in Canada. Rhapsody prolly has issues with the Canadian Govment when it comes to distributing songs. One reason why you can't get Pandora in the UK is because it is too expensive to operate there.

well, even if i click teh download link it says that its not available in Canada, and i haven't even said im in Canada. Have they been stalking me????!!?!? Well i'll prolly just go and find a torrent for it.

You might want to try using a proxy.

Go to proxy.org, and type in the url for the rhapsody page, and the server will think you are not from canada.

In the system menu, you should be able to change the USB mode. Change it to MTP

Just letting you know, rhapsody isn't only sansa. verizon and bestbuy also have a rhapsody
