Questing

Questing
This is for people who constantly complain about being bored and having nothing to do.This is real questing in real life. I go on quests every day; the Quest For Munchies (one of my most frequent quests) usually comes after the Quest To Gurs House (another one of my favorite and most frequent quests). I go on the Quest To My House everyday. If done right all quests can be fun (or at least have some good scenery).

On most quests (except those that need to be completed quickly) you should walk or take the bus. This prolongs them and lets you get to know your environment better for future quests. This also allows you to screw around and interact with society.

I like the idea, but I also like to add a bit of a challenge to the quest, usually something I have never done. For example, a recent quest was to find some sumac with ripe berries, clip some off, and go home and make sumac tea.

Another would be to walk to the grocery and carry the groceries back with no plastic or paper bags from the store. The store is 2 miles away and I will probably have 4 grocery bags worth of pantry supplies. How do I solve that problem? Maybe with this Instructable

I get a lot of joy from solving problems and using the things I learn on Instructables.

This one gets my vote! As someone who, apparently, has been questing for the last 18 years (lol!), I can safely say the "Quest of Working for Money" isn't that fun either, but, after you've completed it, you get to return to the Tavern to "Save the Game" :p

Despite you sounding like a complete pothead, and me never having partaken in the Herb in my entire life, nor having any desire to.....I know exactly what you mean, man. This is a great instructable, and if people realized the "quest mindset" more often they'd be infinitely happier doing even the most mundane tasks. More ambitious quests can be even more rewarding: traveling a few towns away to close a Craigslist deal, combined with a quest to pick up some supplies, consult with an auto mechanic, etc. It's infinitely epic....if you think about it the right way.

This part: "I go on quests every day; the Quest For Munchies (one of my most frequent quests) usually comes after the Quest To Gurs House" That's what I thought too; don't change it, it's funny.

Haha Love this thing, I'm probably gonna go on a "Quest to the Bathroom" soon, as I like drinking Iced Tea while on Instructables. . . Do I get any quest rewards, a la MMORPG's? and other games?
