Step 1: Supplies

RGB led controller -       Ebay

unit, but I was sent two ??)

12V DC power supply - Free      (My box of spare power supplies, An every Geek Must have)

And finally Somewhere to mount the led segments.

Cm'on Be inventive, A Fish tank, Behind a Tv, RC car, under the Bed, On a Shelf, In a computer case And im sure there's lots more!.

For this I just used a small scrap of wood so I could be portable and mount the leds anywhere I wanted

So after you've gathered your materials glue gun the wires from the led strips into the output pin, Make sure there in the correct position! (directions on the sticker on the led controller)

After you've done the above Move onto step two: Mounting the leds

Yes, just buy more units and solder the connections together, However there is a maximum of 500 milliamps per chain with the controller im using, be sure to check first!

It's a question of how deep you want to go. Most of us buy materials. Car manufacturers buy parts from suppliers. Some retaurants buy spices, others grow them.

Whatever works, yo.
