---The pipes had to be stuck together in some way or another, and after some research i discovered that the best way was to melt them together. So i used my kitchen gas stove to do this.

---In the second picture you can see the first side of the frame is ready, I have laid out the parts I prepared for the second side.

hey we actually made these in robotics last year and we simply drilled holes through the connected pvc parts and put zip-ties trough the holes that way if we ever wanted to change the frame, just cut the zip-ties. you can also use pvc cement which basically melts together the pvc, but make sure u do this outdoors.

PVC cement does not melt together the pipe, it just glues the 2 parts together. You can do this outside, but the fumes were never really a nuisance to me so I always do it indoors.

PVC Cement actually does melt the parts together...  It's a "solvent cement" that pertially dissolves the PVC plastic, allows the dissolved plastic to mix; then evaporates, leaving the plastic parts "welded" together.
