Rainbow Pancakes

How to make rainbow pancakes

Step 1: Mixing the Batter

Ingredients:
Pancake Batter (mix or homemade)
^You'll need the ingredients your box/recipe calls for
Food coloring

Step 2: Get the Bowls

You'll need one bowl for every color you're going to make, plus one large bowl for mixing.
First, mix all the batter ingredients in the large bowl. Then, separate the batter equally into your smaller bowls.

Step 3: Mix in the Colors

Add one color to each bowl.

Step 4:

Grill the pancakes like you normally would.

Step 5: Done!

You're done!

maybe you could mix colors as you are pouring them to make tie dye pancakes

There are lots of instructions for this on the internet. I didn't see any here, so I made one. Nowhere did I say I made up this EXACT method. I saw instructions on how to make rainbow cupcakes, so I thought it would work the same way for pancakes. And it did.

All the same, it's always nice to include a link or explain how you got the idea. Look around Instructables. There are often many repeated and modified ideas, but the respectable ones always include a link. It's just a community respect thing.

How do you know the author obtained the idea from the link you posted? When I do a Google search, I receive 3,330,000 results in 0.22 seconds. I sure don't see anywhere near that many links on that blog about others that came up with this idea. You seem to imply that this is not a "respectable" instructable because it doesn't link to your or your friends blog that is not even under the instructables web domain. Neither this author nor your friend was the first person in history to decide to experiment with food coloring but that does not make either post any less respectable. Making unsubstantiated claims however, does.

This is a very cool idea that I would not have thought of trying if I wouldn't have browsed across it in Instructables. Thank you to the author for taking the time to post such a fun idea on Instructables.
