XBOX 360 Controller Rapid Fire Mod

XBOX 360 Controller Rapid Fire Mod
This will show you how to modify your XBOX 360 wireless controller to get rapid fire with the right trigger using a mod chip

**you will need experience with soldering as some of the points are very small

**it is possible to destroy your controller in the process (dont blame me, i didnt do it)

Step 1What controller do you have?

What controller do you have?
the easiest way to tell which board you have is to take the battery pack off the controller and look at the board before you open it

another way to tell which board you have is by the way the board looks (see pictures)

Usually on a chip the dot will be positioned toward the front left most pin to indicate pin one Looking at it from the top with pins facing down. Check schmatic. Check diagham or another source for power and inputs outputs and grounds.

Why would you spend the money to buy a kit when it takes the same amount of soldering and material to just use a pushbutton

Which way are the pins facing? Because according to the schematic of the timer the number 4 pin is on the bottom left and the number 5 pin on the bottom right. I just want to make sure I'm doing it right.

is that a 555 IC ?
Jun 23, 2010. 5:15 PMstinger0410 says:
i think it is because the 555 IC is mainly the only used timing chip for modding as such

Yes that is a 555 IC. If he knew how to hook it up right and did a little research on how to do it, then he would have a God given power mod. It would be insanely fast.

Why would you want to have rapid fire for the left trigger? Usually people put it on the right so they can use it in FPS. Unless of course you're left handed.

I have this on both of my triggers, it's good for dual wielding weapons.
