This instructable shows you how to make a simple and easy, yet delicious drink. Raspberry Coke is nothing special but it's generally a rare find where I come from - most people mix raspberry flavoring with either lemonade or water and so did I until one day I was at a pub with my dad and a Canadian tourist went to the bar to order a drink. I heard his 'strange' accent (or so I thought at the time seeing as I was only young) and naturally zoned in to what he was saying. He ordered Vodka, Coke and Raspberry. The barman gave the guy a weird look as if to suggest he'd never heard of such a drink but delivered the drink to the specifications described by the Canadian man. I too had never heard of such a drink and was interested as to what the combination of raspberry and coke would taste like so I ordered one (without the alcohol of course seeing as I was only a young boy).

I have been drinking Raspberry Coke ever since and thought i'd share it with you.

(please excuse the fact that the pictures aren't the right way up)

Step 1: Materials and Ingredients

Materials
- 1 Glass (any type)
- 1 spoon (to stir)

Ingredients
- Bottle of Schweppes Raspberry Flavor
- Bottle of Cola (Any cola will do - Coke tastes best in my opinion but I used homebrand cola for this instructable)

Step 2: Pour the Raspberry

First step, pour the raspberry flavoring into the glass. You just want a small layer of flavoring at the bottom of the glass - this stuff is pretty sweet and you only need a little. If you want more you can always add it later.

Step 3: Pour in the Cola

Now you just want to fill the rest of the glass up with cola and you're done. If you wish to add more raspberry you can - it's really up to your personal taste.

Enjoy.

Seeing as this is my first instructable, if you have any suggestions as to what I could to better please let me know. Thanks :)
Will definitely be trying this next time I go to the shops. I drink nothing but Cherry Coke and NEVER would have thought of trying this so thanks for your 'ible. :-)
First of all...it sounds great. I'm going to give this a try right away. Plus I think my wife will love it as well. So thanks for sharing. I do have one question...why are your pictures all sideways? It would just make the presentation look a little nicer if you took a moment to rotate them. Otherwise, good job.
Yeah sorry about the photos... This was a fairly quick and un-planned i'ble, and I just took the photos on my phone. As for the rotation, they actually were the right way up on my computer but for some reason when I uploaded them onto the site, they were on their side and I don't know how to rotate them once they're on Instructables.

Thanks for your advice guys
Could you take photos with brighter light, and rotate them 90o?

L
