Introduction: Real Hash Brown
How to make hash brown from the raw ingredients. There are only 4, it's not that hard.
Step 1: How to Get It Done.
-Potato (1 good sized potato will make one hash brown)
-Salt and Pepper
1/ Peel the potato and then grate it with the coarsest side of your grater.
2/ Remove every bit of moisture you can from the potato, I wring it out by hand then try to absorb it with paper towel. (If you can think of any better ways, please leave me a comment, I'd really like to know!)
3/ In a preheated pan over a medium-high heat with a generous dose of vegetable oil, form your hash brown.
4/ Add some salt and pepper to taste and then cook for 10-15 minutes or until golden and crispy.
