Step 1: Safety and Materials
Materials:
Spraypaint for PLASTICS (take a piece of the color you want to compare at the store)
Note: ^ You can use regular spraypaint but you will need to rough up the sides of your Legos with sandpaper.
2 pieces of paper to spray on
the Legos you wish to recolor
Step 2: Spray
Step 3: Touch up
If you can see lots of spots and the Legos aren't fully coated, repeat step 2.
Shake them around on the paper then leave them there to dry. (15 to 20 minutes)
Step 4: Use

With spray paint your best bet is to layer the paint on. Give it a slight spray (not enough to cover it yet) walk around the garden for a few minutes, then give it another spray, use different angles to get the whole piece.
You really have to take your time to build up a good coating. If the paint has a wet look to it, you laid on too much in one go.
