Introduction: Record Voice Chat From Xbox Live to PC

This is my second instructable on how to record voice chat from your Xbox 360 onto your PC for further use. Such as evidence of abuse. Legal reasons. Or just for the fun of it!

It works much the same way as My First instructable

Step 1: What You Need

You will need:

A Xbox 360
A Wireless or Wired Xbox 360 controller with the headset port on it
A voice chat converstation
A Audio Link up Cable
A Headphone adapter which fits the xbox controller
A Soundcard which allows LINE IN
And finally some audio recording software

Step 2: Connect It Up!

Plug the Adapter into the controller, Plug the cable into the Adapter, Plug the cable into your soundcard!
Thats it done

Step 3: Record It!

Load up your trusty Audio editing and recording softwares (Nero wave editor for me)
Hit record. And chat away!
Once your done save the audio and use it as you wish

Step 4: Quick Shot of the Audio

Here is the peak file for the audio i recorded

As you can see it is on one channel only, The other channel is for the microphone

Step 5: One Quick Thing

You cannot use the mic when you are recording. Unless you want to seperate the channels in the cable so one is connected to the PC and the other is on the Mic
